The Benta Wawasan Sdn. Bhd. (BWSB) Corporate Iftar Gathering 2026 was successfully held on 20 February 2026 at Dewan Sri Tawau, Sin Onn, Tawau.
The event was graced by the presence of YBhg. Datuk Haji Abdul Karim Abdul Wahid, Chief Executive Officer of BWSB, together with members of the company’s senior management team. Also in attendance were YBhg. Datuk Hj. Mohd Daud B. Tampokong, Chief Executive Officer of Sabah Softwoods Berhad, and his delegation, as well as YBhg. Datin Norkhajijah Hj. Tussin, Chief Administrator of Yayasan Sabah, Southern East Coast Zone, accompanied by members of her team.
The gathering was also attended by employees from BWSB Headquarters, Benta Edible Oil Sdn. Bhd. and Benta Agrotech Sdn. Bhd., together with members of the media.
In conjunction with the blessed month of Ramadan, BWSB also invited several recipients of its Ramadan Wakalah contributions, comprising recognised Tahfiz centres, mosques and Muslim convert associations in and around Tawau.
Among the highlights of the programme was the presentation of contributions to the invited recipients, followed by a religious talk (tazkirah) delivered by Al-Fadhil Ustadz Mohammad Othman prior to the breaking of fast.
The evening continued with the breaking of fast in a warm atmosphere of fellowship and togetherness, before concluding with the congregational Isyak and Tarawih prayers, led by BWSB Religious Officer, Ustadz Sultan Bin Jamal.
The gathering provided a meaningful opportunity to strengthen relationships among BWSB, its subsidiaries, stakeholders and the local community, while embracing the spirit of compassion, generosity and togetherness that defines the holy month of Ramadan.
